When you are in the mood for shopping in Marin County, there is no need to drive across the Golden Gate Bridge to San Francisco. We have great little boutiques, upscale shopping centers, great supermarkets and all sorts of stores where you can find practically everything. Unlike in San Francisco, parking is either free or inexpensive, but always plentiful which makes the whole shopping expedition much more pleasurable.
I do love to shop in San Francisco occasionally, mainly on Union Street or Fillmore. Just across the Golden Gate Bridge, downtown San Francisco offers also a plethora of upscale designer stores – Chanel, Max Mara, Burberry’s, Cartier, Tiffany’s and many more, and upscale department stores such as Saks Fith Avenue, Neiman Marcus and Barney’s. Boutiques such as Longchamp, Anne Fontaine (amazing French blouses), Nara Camicce (amazing Italian blouses), and many more abound…a paradise for fashionistas…
